The ‘collection’ colour system

You may have noticed some changes in my shop, which has been recently updated in line with the core ethos at the heart of my small business. I sell handmade, bespoke dog collars, leads and much more using upcycled rope offcuts from my local marina in Hamble.  Given the nature of upcycling, how you shop on Lala Leads has evolved. Let me explain…

I save all different types of coloured rope from heading to landfill where it would very slowly deteriorate over centuries. Due to this, I am not able to guarantee a specific colour, but instead, I can promise availability in more broad categories, such as our ‘green collection’, our ‘tinted collection’, our ‘earth tones collection’ and so on.

When you shop for your product, selecting one of these collections will ensure your finished product is made from rope in a colour of that collection. This means that every single piece of yacht rope is saved from landfill. However, if after browsing the variety of collections, you fall totally in love with a specific colour within a collection, please do get in touch and I will try my best to fulfil your request.

Shopping on Lala Leads through the recently implemented ‘collections’ system means that you are directly contributing to the upcycling of this rope and eliminating its potential trip to landfill. By partaking in this new method of shopping for my bespoke leads and collars, you are playing your part in saving our planet, and ensuring a complete circle of consumption, whereby nothing is wasted.

I would really welcome any feedback, good or bad, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with your ideas and thoughts on the ‘collections’.

Save our world today, and make sure your four legged friends always looks their absolute best. Keep an eye on my blog to discover new and upcoming items, such as the ‘Puppy Collection’, and much more. Exciting times are ahead for Lala Leads; I cannot wait to show you what else I have up my sleeve.

With lots of love,

Lala xxx
