Quick Release Collar Launch.
Hello lovely lot! I am super excited to be dedicating this weeks blog to the launch of my new quick release collar. Added to the collection only days ago, this beautifully sleek yacht rope dog collar is as durable, resilient and sustainable as the rest, but offers an alternative to my traditional collars.
So, what are the benefits of a quick release collar?
They can handle high impact pulling (loose lead walking takes time!) yet still remain super secure at the same time. So no need to worry if your dog is a puller.
In an emergency, it may sometimes be necessary to very quickly release your dog’s collar. With my quick release buckles, it takes less than a second to remove your dogs collar if it gets stuck on branches, sharp edges or other obscure objects our four legged friends always manage to find!
If you have a super squirmy dog who likes to dance around the floor while you are trying to get wellies, coats and collars on, the quick release on-off collar makes getting ready a dream.
The metal for my buckles has been responsibly sourced by myself, and will become part of my LaLa Loop system. Once the collar is deemed no longer fit for use, it can be sent back to me to be deconstructed and reinserted into the production cycle; the rope will be washed and reused or sent to be amalgamated for insulation, the metal will be used in collars for the secondhand section of my shop.
A metal ring will also be subtly woven in to each quick release collar, to ensure identity tags can be used. Alternatively, another advantage of quick release collars is you can get your contact details engraved on the buckle itself! Please note I do not offer this service currently (but watch this space - laser machine incoming!). This can be a great way to avoid the potentially annoying jingle jangle that can follow our canine companions around.
